The ship's Upper Deck cabins each has a private step-out balcony, which allows passengers to relax and admire the passing riverside scenery. This ship features a cozy Panorama Restaurant serving international dishes, spacious Sun Deck with swimming pool, deck chairs, tables and sunshade awnings. Other onboard facilities include Panorama Bar Lounge, lift (between lower and upper decks), stair lift (upper to sun decks). The main onboard language is German. Travelers must have in mind that there is no special program for English-speaking guests.
All cabins on Douro Cruiser are outside and measure about 15 m2 (160 ft2). They have individual air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms (shower and toilet), safe, satellite TV, hairdryer. Staterooms are stylishly furnished with either two single beds or a double bed.
The Panorama Restaurant seats all guests in a single sitting. On embarkation day, passengers can reserve a table for the entire cruise. The international, tasty dishes are attractively presented. Quizzes, bingo, enrichment lectures, live music and themed evenings are featured in the onboard entertainment program, together with board- and card games.
